“Spot the difference” is a game development initative designed to enhance customer engagement and increase product awareness. The interactive game challenges users to identify subtle mistakes in product visuals, helping them understand key differences between variants in a fun and enagaging way.
In a landscape where product clarity and customer interaction are key to brand visibility, there was a growing requirement for a digital tool that could seamlessly engage users while reinnforcing awareness around product differences. The goal was to create an interactive experience that educated, entertained and elevated product understanding, all within a short attention span.
Customers often struggle to distinguish between similar-looking product variants. While product innovations exist, they are not always noticed at first glance. A tool was needed that not only highlighted these difference but also captured the user’s attention quickly and memorably, especially in rurual activations or event settings.
To meet this need, we conceptualized and executed a game development initiative that resulted in a mobile-friendly game titled “Spot the difference.” Designed as a 30- to 40-second challenge, the game tasks users with spotting subtle visual or content-based discrepancies, such as incorrect packaging elements, label misprints, or variant mismatches.
This gamified experience does more than entertain. It makes users pause, observe, and absorb important product information in a fun and rewarding way.
The game was built with a mobile-first approach, ensuring smooth performance across devices regardless of screen size or internet speed. With a clean interface and touch-friendly design, it offers a seamless experience even in low bandwidth regions, making it ideal for rural activations, on-the-go engagement and quick digital touchpoints.
Game Objective
Encourage users to identify errors a series of product visuals, focusing on packaging details, feeding charts or branding inconsistencies to reinforce familiarity with actual product attributes.
